FastTrak's high definition camera matches what's on the tray to the day's menu. Kids identify themselves just like they do now, whether that's a fingerprint, palm scan, PIN, barcode, or card swipe, and FastTrak does the rest. The transaction posts to EduTrak.
Account balances, meal counts, and reimbursable meal reporting update the way they do now. The student is already at their table or on the playground and you have all the data you need to finish the day.

Who can buy FastTrak today?
Districts already running EduTrak Food Service. New districts that subscribe to Food Service will have the option to add FastTrak soon.
How does it work with our existing point-of-sale?
FastTrak replaces the cashier register step at the checkout point. Account balances, meal counts, and reimbursable meal reporting still run through EduTrak Food Service.
What does rollout look like?
The team walks through hardware, install timing, and staff training on the intro call. Most districts start with one line at one school before expanding.
How is pricing set?
Pricing depends on lines and buildings in scope. We put together a quote after the intro call.
Do we need a specific version of EduTrak to run FastTrak?
Yes. FastTrak runs on EduTrak Server Core (ESC) and is compatible with both the Orchid and Lotus releases. If your district is still on LCS, you'll need to upgrade to ESC before adding FastTrak. Your account rep can walk you through what that looks like.
